Saving Souls

Hello, everybody. Welcome to the City of Faith Health-Care Center. We’ve been doing our program this week out in front of the City of Faith and behind me you can see the beautiful hands, the healing hands — the one hand representing the hand of prayer, the other hand representing the prayer… er the uh…. come on, Richard, talk. One hand representing the hand of prayer, the other hand representing the hand of medicine.

The doctors and the prayer of faith joined together. The Bible says, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick person and the Lord will raise him up.” God put his stamp of approval on prayer. The Bible also says, “They that are sick need a physician.” God put his stamp of approval on medical science. And here at the City of Faith they are being joined together and I’ll tell you, the City of Faith is a place where miracles are happening every day.

I’m excited, especially to be out here in this beautiful Oklahoma sunshine and it’s not even too windy today. But who knows? The wind may pick up before this program is over. My special guests today are Dr. Charles Allen who has been the minister, the senior minister, at First United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas,

He’s been in the ministry for many more years than that. He’s a prolific author and he’s written more than 38 books and probably one of the best preachers known in this country. All across America you hear the name Dr. Charles Allen. And Cheryl Prewitt is back with us today. And my dad, Oral Roberts, is a guest on our program today. How do you like that? I get to have him as a guest on my program. He’s had me on his program for many years and so we get to turn that around today and he’ll be with us in a few
minutes.
