Listen to the Word of God by Richard Roberts

Let me tell you what happens when you preach on Jezebel.  Hell breaks loose in your family.  Hell breaks loose in your body.  Hell breaks loose in your household because Jezebel doesn’t want to let go.  But I’ll tell you what, if you’ll stand strong in the power of God, you will believe the Word of God, you will listen to the Word of God and you act on the Word of God, then the Word of God will send that spirit out of your church, send that spirit out of your city, send that spirit out of your house and send that spirit out of your kids.

It’s time to take it back.  Now you may want to sit there.  You may want to walk up the aisles and act like nothing’s happened.  Be my guest and exit the building.  But I tell you what, Elvis may have left the building, but the Holy Spirit hasn’t.  And it’s time we took it back. What are you losing today?  What are you without today?  Are you sick? Are you tired?  Are you broke?  Are you busted?  Then get off your backside and say to the devil, “No more, in the name of Jesus.  Jezebel, God said I can rebuke you, and you’ve got to leave us alone.”

So right now catch hands with somebody.  In the name of Jesus, you start stirring up the Holy Spirit.  The only way to get rid of an ugly spirit by the name of Jezebel is to stir up the Holy Spirit.  You command the Holy Ghost to start burning it out with fire.  If you want to sit on your backside and you be sick and you be broke and satan has taken your money and your healing and your salvation and your church building and they’re building bars with the money God called you to build buildings with, it’s not God’s fault.

Begin to call it back.  You call your house back.  You call your wealth back.  You call your power back.  You call dominion back.  You call authority back.  You call your rightful position in the body of Christ back.  You call your rightful position in the community back.  You call your rightful position in the world back, in the name of Jesus. And you tell satan, “No more, baby, no more.  In the name of Jesus, I’m not going to tolerate this spirit, not in the church, not in rebellion, not in immorality, not on the television set, not in the news.”  Don’t believe everything you see, and don’t believe everything you read unless it’s in the Word of God.

The temple of the Holy Spirit by Richard Roberts

Nancy, go to the next one.  Abercrombie and Fitch.  A&F used to be accepted and forgiven.  Abercrombie and Fitch, doesn’t this guy look cute?  He said, “Beware of sheep in wolves clothing,? or in this particular case sheep in no clothing.  I have censored their magazine. You have to be 18 years old to buy it.  Yet we walked in and we put a kid in there that was about 13 and went in and bought it.

They’re being sued right now for child pornography in their children’s catalog.  Cosmopolitan magazine says they should be brought up on charges of child pornography because there is a little tiny child about the age of eight wearing a thong, with an old man looking on her, and the thong says, “Wink, wink and eye candy(?)?

Next one.  In I Corinthians, if you look carefully, your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and yet you can see these ads anywhere you want, anything you want.  I just read a Christian magazine that talked about the top coolest Christian tattoos available.  But in Leviticus 20:28, it says, “You shall not make cutting on your flesh, for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you, for I am your Lord.”

Let’s go to the next one, Psalm 91 says, “He shall give his angels charge over you.”  Let’s see the kind of angels we’ve been watching on television.  Charlie’s Angels, one of the top movies you can see. Jennifer Lopez right there in her angel costume.  But I have to tell you that in her angel costume I cut off all the stuff in the wings, and you couldn’t see it.  She’s one of the highest paid performers.

She also was the one that was censored when she went to the Academy Awards.  Her gown was so revealing that the producers had to put a camera on the top and only shoot her from the head up. The next one.  U2, and the Ramones.  U2?s lead singer’s name is Bono. Bono, and I quote Bill Clinton, former President, said, “Bono should be regarded as the leader we should follow into the new millennium.  U2 went and did an album, tribute with a group of other performers for the group, in a tribute to the group called the Ramones.  And one of the songs that this Bono-Bono, I was thinking of another letter in the middle of that B-o-z-o, but it says Bono.  You’ll figure.  This leader that our President said that we should follow into the new millennium has the lead song on the album that is called “Happy Family.”  We’re a happy family.  The song is called “Beat the Brat.”  Beat the Brat.  Beat him in the head with a baseball bat, teaching fathers how to discipline their children.

Revelation is the last book of the Bible by Richard Roberts

“We cannot worship God on Sunday morning, tolerate, tolerate, tolerate Jezebel through immoral entertainment and movies on Sunday night and indeed with this in mind regarding to the warning against Jezebel, the eternal words described in Revelation 2, “He searches our minds and our hearts.?”  As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 4:20-23).  “My son, give attention to my words.  Incline your ears to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes.  Keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life, for they are life, for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.”

“For it is the inner sanctuary of our private soul life where the tolerance to Jezebel begins.  Here it is within us that the tolerance also must end.”  Revelation 2:20 says, “How long?-this is Jesus talking in red-?How long will you (in the church ) tolerate this spirit Jezebel?”  And the funny part about the opening of that Scripture, Jesus said,  “Folks, I have this one thing against you.”  Now if you look in the book of Revelation-turn to the book of Revelation, the second chapter, and I want you to look very carefully at Revelation 2.  “How long will you tolerate this spirit Jezebel?”  See that.  Did you find it?

Now look past to the next book after Revelation.  In the last book of the Bible, Jesus says, “Listen, church, I have something against you.”  Now there’s not going to be much said after that because Revelation is the last book of the Bible.

So in the last book of the Bible, before that testament ends, Jesus, in red, says, “Church, I have something against you.  Perk up.”  He says,  “I’m fed up with you tolerating that woman Jezebel, who causes my people to perish with all their immorality, with their acts of immorality, with this, with that, with this, with that.”

But, you know, it doesn’t happen the day you got called-how many of you remember the day you got saved?  How many of you remember the day you got called into the ministry?  On that day did you say, “Now let’s have a bunch of immorality and I’ll see how far I can tempt Jesus and push His button.”  No, it starts out slow, and then it goes a little further and a little further and a little further, until we don’t even realize how far we’ve come and how long it’s been since we were back into the days where Jesus didn’t have to warn us, “In the church I have this one thing against you.”

History does repeat itself by Lindsay Roberts

He begins to pass it on and through generations and through time.  They mess it up.  They become idol worshippers, and the next thing you know, you’ve got wicked king Nebuchadnezzar right back where we started, and you’ve got idol worshipping, and if you don’t bow down you’re going to burn.  And here we are all over again.  History does repeat itself.

So here comes Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.  They refuse to bow.  So what do they do?  They get thrown in the fiery furnace.  They’re bound. The furnace is heated seven times hotter than normal, and the next thing you know somebody shows up in the fiery furnace.  Nebuchadnezzar takes a look in, and he said, “Hey!  Didn’t we throw in  three?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Aren’t they bound?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Then how come there’s four.  They’re loose, and they’re marching around, and the fourth man looks like? what?  “The Son of God!”  APPLAUSE

How does he know what the Son of God looks like?  He hasn’t been born yet.  He’s a spirit.  The same spiritual revelation that’s in the middle of the fiery furnace was the same spiritual revelation of Melchizedek all the way back here.  God can show up wherever you need Him.

So now you’ve got Him in the middle of the fiery furnace, the guys are delivered.  Glory.  Hallelujah!  And guess what they do again?  Another long journey of messing up.  Until you come all the way to Malachi.  And what does Malachi say?

“You did it again.  You’re cursed with a curse.  You have lost the blessing of Abraham.”

I can prove that.  Because he goes on, and he says, “You are cursed with a curse even this whole nation.  Return to me and I will return unto you.”

“Wherein have we robbed God?”

“You have robbed me in…” what?

Tithe and offering.  Who was the first guy to do it? Abraham.  “You’ve robbed me all these years in tithe and offering.  And because of it you’re cursed with a curse again.”  And He said, “You return unto me, and I’ll return unto you, and I will open you the windows of heaven and pour you out…”  Careful how this is translated. This is what my father studied with the Jewish rabbi who knew exactly what he was doing.

He said, “I will open you the windows of heaven and…”   Not pour you out a blessing.  It says, “I will pour you out the blessing of Abraham, possessor of heaven and earth, most high God, deliverer from all your enemies.”  And He said,  “I’ll open you the windows of heaven, pour you out a blessing where there’s not room enough to receive it, and rebuke the devourer for your sake.”
