Godly men and women are in power by Richard Roberts

This past year, there’s a man in this country, a well- known man…  If I gave his name, many of you would recognize it.  He wrote a letter to more than a million Christians.  And in his letter, and I’m paraphrasing what he said, he said, “The body of Christ’s job is to evangelize the world, not to go to the polls and vote.”

And many people believed him.  My friends, you talk about a way of evangelizing the world, you put godly men and women in office in this land, and you’ll be in a position where you can evangelize the world.  …RESPONSE…  I mean, excuse me for saying it, but how dumb can you get and still breathe?

Joyce was talking about the apostle Paul, and that he wasn’t all spiritual.  Did you notice the Bible says he was a citizen of Rome.  We’re citizens of this country, most of us, and we have many internationals here.

Dr. Myles Munroe, who was seated here in the front this morning, or seated here tonight, this morning told us in the board of trustees meeting that in his nation, in the Bahamas, his prime minister is born again and the parliament is 85 percent Christian-85 percent.  …APPLAUSE…   He said, “The church, the ministry, is literally running the country.”  Godly men and women are in power.  And without revealing all the details, he told the story about a certain cruise ship that was coming to the island that was not of God.  And the churches of God got together, and they would not let it into the country.  …APPLAUSE…

Now the last time I checked, the Bahamas are only about a hundred miles off of Florida.  It’s getting close to America.  It’s getting close.   There’s a case…  I’ll do it.  There’s a case in Texas. I don’t know if you’ve heard about it.  It’s out of Santa Fe, Texas, in Galveston County, where a high school had a prayer at the end of every commencement.  Two students got offended and they sued.

It’s been through court in all of Texas, it’s been through the national news, and the judge ruled, “We’re going to let you pray, but we’re going to check what you pray.”  And the judge said, “You can use the word God, and you can use the word Almighty, but you cannot use the name of Jesus.”

New Holy Ghost energizing system by Richard Roberts

I’ll tell you, God’s moving here this morning.  Shoulders are being healed right now.  Pain is leaving shoulders. Attitudes are being changed.  The “I cannot” attitude is switching over to “I can.”  You’re becoming God’s “can-do” man. You’re becoming God’s “can-do” woman.

Paul said it, we can say it, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  He didn’t say, “I cannot do.”  He said, “I can do.”  We are counting it all joy, even in the midst of a storm life.  If Paul and Silas can sing and praise God while they’re in jail, then we can do it.  And when we do, those prison doors are going to open and it’s going to lead to somebody’s delivered like it did the jailer and his family.

Oh, hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  Lift your hands unto Him this morning and give Him praise.  Give Him praise.  Father, we thank You.  We glorify Your name.  We worship You.  We give You the honor and the glory.  We’re about Your business.  O Lord, nobody can do it like You.  Oh, thank You, Lord.  We avail ourselves to You.  You’re right in the midst of us.  In You we move and live and have our being.  O Father, we thank You.  We praise You.

There is a new Holy Ghost energizing system that’s moving in right now.  There’s a new divine flow.  Some of you feel like you can just run.  It’s just an excitement.  I can’t wait, I can’t wait, I can’t wait until you get home and preach on Sunday morning.  Just see what happens.  Because as you preach it, what’s gotten on you is going to get off on your people. (Applause)

There’s a smell of salvation in the air.  There’s a smell of healing in the air.  There’s a smell of deliverance in the air. There’s a smell of victory in the air.  Can you smell it?(Response)  I can smell it.  It’s on you, and it’s going to come off on everybody you rub shoulders with.  I believe you’re going to have a new church.  And the reason it’s new is because you’re becoming new.  Oh, glory to God!  Lift your hands up to Him and give Him praise this morning.  (Praise)

How many of you felt the healing touch of Jesus when somebody laid hands on . . .

Holy Ghost communication by Richard Roberts

They say that the mountain climber gets the most uncomfortable during the night as he’s on the face of the mountain and he can’t go up and he can’t go down, because the darkness comes.  And so what does he do?  He takes ropes and stakes and ties himself to the mountain.  It doesn’t matter how cold it gets in the night.  It doesn’t matter how hard the wind blows.  It doesn’t matter if it rains or sleets or snows.  What’s important is that he’s there in the morning.  That’s what’s important.

And some of you have been rained on and sleeted upon and snowed on, and satan has tried to strike you and you’re uncomfortable and you’re not even sure why you’re here.  And yet as you’ve been hearing these messages, as you heard Gloria Copeland and Jesse Duplantis yesterday and as you heard my father, Oral Roberts, and Brother Kenneth Copeland last night, as you’ve heard Lindsay, as you’re going to hear Joyce Meyer and Creflo Dollar tonight and then Benny Hinn tomorrow, I believe it’s all going to come into focus.

She stirs her nest and pulls those soft downy feathers out, and those little eaglets get so comfortable.  The second thing the Bible says she does in Deuteronomy 32, she flutters over her young.  Say that with me.  She flutters over her young. (Response)  What is she doing?  Well, no one really knows.  But I believe she’s communicating with the little eaglets.  I believe she’s fluttering over them and saying, “It’s going to be all right.  Everything’s going to be okay.  I know what I’m doing.”

Aren’t you glad we have a Holy Ghost communication system with God?  Aren’t you glad that we can lift our voices (tongues) and out of our belly flows rivers of living water?  Aren’t you glad we have a Holy Ghost communication system and the devil doesn’t know what we’re talking about?  Let’s just lift our voice in the Spirit right now.  Everybody just pray in tongues. (Tongues)

Now stop and begin to pray in English as Paul taught us. Begin to pray in English right now.  God begins to give you divine revelation and understanding.  You see, we have a Holy Ghost communication system.  That’s God fluttering over His children like that mother eagle flutters over her young.

Glory to God! by Richard Roberts

CARLTON: Glory to God!

RR: Where’s that third person?

CARLTON: Here he is right here.

RR: Right behind you.

MAN: I’ve had hearing problems for over 45 years, and I have noises in both ears.  And a while ago while you were talking, the noise in my right ear diminished and I can hear better than I did.

RR: Better than you did.  Stretch your hands out toward him.  Lord, I just ask You to complete it, in the name of Jesus.  Hallelujah! Billy Joe, right to your right.  You’re hearing.

BJD: All these are healed in their stomach, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven right over there.

RR: I said sixteen.  What happened to your hearing just now?

MAN: When you began to minister tonight, you said, “Right now the right ear drum is healed.”  For the last month I’ve had such a ringing in my ear that it would make me dizzy.  And I’ve had a hard time hearing, and it went away.

RR: It’s gone.

MAN: It’s gone.

RR: How many of you are healed in your stomach tonight?  I said sixteen.  Put your hand up.  One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.  Six and a half, in Jesus’ name.  Just get the rest of it. Seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve.  What happened here, Carlton?

LADY: I had irritable bowel syndrome.  When you said it’s a rumbling, I immediately felt just, my stomach was just churning.  And I have no pain.  Praise God.

RR: It’s gone?

CARLTON: She said when you said the rumbling, her stomach started rumbling when you said rumbling.  And instantly she felt deliverance.

RR: All of you who are being healed in your stomach, stand right up here.  Walk right up here.  Because God showed me sixteen of you.  He showed me sixteen of you.  All you who can testify that you felt the power of God come in your stomach, you can tell a difference, God showed me sixteen.  You that are healed, put your hand up.  I want to know who it is for sure.  One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen.  There’s one other.  Sixteen.
