The Power Of God In My Life by Richard Roberts

He was seated beside the highway outside the city of Jericho.  Each day he was led there.  And the garment that he wore allowed him to be a professional beggar, because he was blind.  And there are many who are blind today.  Not just blind in their eyes, but blind to the things of God.

And many live a beggar’s lifestyle and not having any idea what is available to them through the power of God.  This is why I have come to Niger, to bring you the good news, for the blindness to be removed and for you to know that there is a God of power, and there’s a God of might, and there’s a God who loves you.

He knows who you are.  He knows where you live.  He knows what you’re going through.  And He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to go to the cross, to take on your sin and mine, and to have His back bloodied and striped for your healing so that you might have abundant, everlasting and eternal life.

This is why I have come to Niger.  I did not come to bring you bad news.  I came to bring you the good news of the gospel, that He’s for you.  He’s not against you.  Hallelujah!

This man sat beside the road begging.  He was blind in his eyes, but he was also blind in his heart.  And then someone told him about Jesus.  And when he heard it, something was lighted in his heart.

When you hear about Jesus, something happens in your heart.  Suddenly hope, hope springs up.  He heard that Jesus was passing his way.  Many have heard that I was coming to Niger, but not me.  It’s the God in me.

I am just a man, but I have the power of God in my life.  That’s why there are miracles wherever I go.  But it is not because of me, but it is because of Him who is in me.

The Bible says, “Greater is he who is in you than he that is in the world.”  Can you say amen?  (Response)

God’s Power by Richard Roberts

I not only got my hand healed, but I learned how to release my faith for a miracle.  You need a point of contact tonight, and here’s the point of contact.  When I say “In the name of Jesus,” that is your point of contact.

I want you to stand with me tonight.  All throughout this Liberty Stadium, wherever you have pain, wherever you have sickness, wherever you’re being attacked by the devil, lay your hand on yourself there.  As I pray here, I am expecting God’s power to come into your body, into your mind, into your spirit, into your family, into every area of your life.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name, I thank You that You are the source of all healing and in Christ’s name, who walked this earth healing the sick, in His name tonight I speak now to every sickness, every disease, every fear, and every doubt.

I stretch out my hands in faith, and I rebuke sickness and disease.  I start with pain in backs.  Pain in the back, that which has crippled you, pain in the hips, in the feet and legs, pain in the shoulders, pain in your arms and in your hands, the arthritis pain, in the authority of Jesus’ name, there’s healing coming now.  (Response)

I send the word to you for your healing.  Pain, come out, and it’s coming out in Jesus’ name.  Backs, be healed.  Shoulders, be healed.  Neck, be healed.  Every disk and vertebra, be healed.  Curvature of the spine, straighten up.  Hips and legs and knees and feet, be healed.

It’s happening right now.  It’s happening, it’s happening, it’s happening.  There’s a wave of healing starting over here on my left.  It’s beginning to move through the crowd.  Begin to bend.  Begin to move.  Pain is leaving someone now.

Raise your hands unto the Lord.  Begin to thank Him now for healing.  I speak to blindness.  I speak to cataracts.  I speak to glaucoma, any problem with your eyes.  Here comes healing.  Here comes healing.

God bless you by Richard Roberts

Hello to everyone here in Ibadan.  Special gettings tonight to Dr. Ibiara and his dear wife and to all of the crusade committee and to every supporting pastor and minister, to the great choir and musicians, to everyone who has worked so hard to bring this to pass.  I am grateful, and I thank you for this invitation.  I have looked forward to this for a long time.

I’ve come with a team, medical doctors and dentists and nurses and technicians.  This day they’ve been doing their medical work, treating patients, doing surgery, doing their dental work and their technical work.  And they’ll be doing that this week.

But I learned something tonight.  I found out they can sing.  Would you all stand, please?  All the team stand.  Give them a God bless you.  Hallelujah!  Give them a handclap.  (Applause)  I want the choir to be on guard.  You have some competition on this side.  They want to sing like you.

I want to bring you special love and greetings from my family.  I spoke with my wife about two hours ago, and I told her that we were on the way to the service.  And she began to pray.  She is a woman of prayer.  She loves God with all of her heart, and she loves me.  (Applause)  Amen.  And I love her with all my heart.

We have three daughters.  Our oldest daughter is 20, and the middle daughter is 18, and the young daughter is 16.  I live with four women.  (Response)  And that is scriptural.  The Bible says, “Blessed am I among women.”  So I have a Bible wife, and I have three Bible daughters.  And they send all their love and all their prayers to you tonight.  Amen.  Hallelujah!

I also want to greet you in behalf of my father Oral Roberts.  (Applause)  My father’s name is a household word throughout America and the world.  This past week he celebrated his 88th birthday.  He is still preaching the gospel.  He is still praying for the sick.  He’s alive, and he is well, and he is anointed by the Holy Ghost.  And I thank God for him.

Glory to God by Richard Roberts

Who can hear better?  If you’re beginning to hear better, come to the platform.

Now if your eyes need healing, put your hand on that eye.  In the authority of Jesus’ name—there was a woman last night who could not see a thing.  God healed her eyes.  Just last night.  In Jesus’ name, I speak to the cataract.  I speak to the glaucoma.  I speak to the blindness.  Come out.  Come out.  Come out, in Jesus’ name.  It’s coming.  It’s coming.  Someone’s sight is being restored right now, right now, right now.

Look around.  Examine your eyes.  Close one eye.  Look around.  See what God is doing.  Someone is beginning to see.  If that’s you, begin to come.  Begin to come to the platform.  Come and give a testimony.  Let the people know that God is a live God.  He’s not a dead God.  He’s a live God.

Now I want to pray for people’s hearts and blood pressure and blood sugar and anemic condition and any type of nervous condition or any type of blood problem.  Lay your hand on yourself.  I speak to this heart problem.  In the name of Jesus, come out.

Every artery, be healed.  Heart muscle, be healed.  I speak to every artery, open up.  I speak to blood sugar, in the name of Jesus, blood sugar, level out.  High blood sugar, come down.  Low blood sugar, come up.

High blood pressure, come down.  Low blood pressure, come up.  I speak to the nervous condition, to the skeletal problem, be healed, in the name of Jesus.  Glory to God!

I come against the anemic condition and the blood condition.  The Bible says, “You shall not be polluted in your own blood.”  I speak to the blood.  Blood, be normal.  Red cells, white cells, platelets, be normal, in the name of Jesus.  I reach in and pull that sickness out.  Sickness, come out.  Come out.  Come out.  Come out, in the name of Jesus.

Thank God by Richard Roberts

He made it clear in the scripture.  One day a leper came to Jesus and said, “Jesus, you can heal me if you want to.”  And Jesus said, “I want to.  I will,” and He healed him.

Third John 2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.”  He wants you well in every area of your life.

He gets no glory out of sickness and disease.  But somehow we Christians have a way of turning our bodies over to the doctor, and we turn our souls over to the pastor.  Well, I’m certainly not knocking medical science.  Thank God for medical science.

Luke, who was a traveling companion of the apostle Paul, was a practicing Greek medical doctor.  He’s the one who wrote the book of Luke and the book of Acts.  And they were a one-two evangelistic team, Paul the evangelist and Luke the doctor.  Thank God that Jesus himself said, “They that are sick need a physician.

Thank God for doctors.  They’re against sickness, and they’re for health.  And I love doctors because they’re trying to get you well.  Did you notice they’ll treat you no matter who you are, no matter what you’ve done?  They will treat a convicted criminal.  They’ll treat a rapist.  They’ll treat a murderer.  Don’t we wish all ministers were like that

“Is any sick among you?”  That was their call.  But when Constantine came in, suddenly the church lost the persecution.  And, my friends, if you’re doing something for God, something’s going to come against you.

But they got the idea they had to suffer for God.  And they thought the best way to do it was to bring Him glory and honor through sickness.

A man said to me, “Richard, I’m suffering for the Lord through sickness.”  I said, “Well then, why don’t you take mine so you can suffer double?”  I wasn’t being cruel.  I just don’t want any sickness.
