C: Thirty years ago I got hurt at work.  I was working at the mill. I had to go to the hospital.  They operated on my back.  They knocked me off the table where my heart had stopped beating, and knocked everything loose.  And for thirty years I’ve been in pain.

RR: Thirty years?

C: Yes, thirty years.

RR: Wow!

C: And last night was the first night that I haven’t had to take a pain pill.

LR: Yea!

RR: What did you feel, Carrie, when we prayed?

C: I just felt good.  I didn’t have no trembling or anything.  I just felt good.  I just let the Lord work on me.

RR: Did you hear me say, “Stretch your hands out and put your hands on my hands?”

C: Yes, I got up and went to the television.

RR: You did?

C: Yes, put my hands on your hands.

RR: Yes.

C: And I could hardly make it to the television, but I got there.  But I praise the Lord because I did.  And I’m healed.

RR: You’re healed.

LR: Hallelujah!

RR: Oh, somebody give God praise. Carrie, thank you for calling and sharing that testimony.  Lindsay, that’s a miracle. Now, Lindsay, there’s no power in my hands, but the Bible said God worked through the hands of the apostles.  Thank God, He’s working through the hands of men and women who are anointed of God today.

If you need healing Lindsay, I want you to join me right now in any area of your body, what God did in Carrie’s life; He can do in your life.  You may have never walked over to a television set and laid your hands on somebody’s hands before. You may be saying, “Well, that’s the silliest thing that I’ve ever heard.”  Well, maybe Carrie thought so too, but she did it in obedience to what I said under the anointing of God.  And you just heard her testimony.  She got healed.

Why don’t you walk over right now, lay your hands on my hands.  In the authority of the name of Jesus, I speak to this condition in your body.  I am coming back to gout, Lindsay. There’s a healing of gout right now.  Somebody who’s had gout is receiving healing.  And there’s, uh huh, yes, there’s a person who, the Lord is giving me the word you punctured your face. You’ve had a puncture in your face, and Jesus is healing that right now.  The Lord is healing your face right now.

MG: First of all, I want to say that we are excited; we are looking forward with great anticipation to what will happen on January 4th.  Robin has already put an announcement on the television, and we’re just excited and we’re just expecting great things.

RG: Yeah, our church is extremely excited.  We’re looking forward to an anointing that destroys every yoke.  And it’s a real honor, Brother Roberts, to have you with us in January and we just thank God for your being available and willing to come and share with us.

RR: Dad, while you’re still on the phone, I’m going to stretch out my hands toward you and toward anyone who is watching our program tonight live from the campus of Oral Roberts University.  And, Robin, I want you to lay your hands on me and, Lindsay, laid your hands on me.  Marilyn, if you will lay your hands on Robin.  And, Dad, Dad, you’re an apostle of the healing ministry.  You’re a trailblazer.  You have blazed a trail for others to follow in healing.

Right now, even as I’m talking about you and bringing honor to whom honor is due, as the Bible says, I feel an anointing, a holy heat that’s the only way I know how to describe it coming out of my hands right now.  I’d like to ask you to pray a prayer of faith, a prayer of healing over people tonight.

And I believe that as your voice, as your voice comes through a telephone line and goes up into space and comes back down into people’s homes, that people will be healed tonight, even as our good friend, Bill Swad, stands by your side tonight live in California.  I’m praying right now the power of God will move as you pray.

OR: Well, Bill Swad has taken hold of my hand.  Bill Swad is a prophet.  He is an apostle of God.  He and I have been together all afternoon, and we’re holding our hands.  And I’m reaching forth to you, my dear friend.  In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I come against that foul, tormenting disease in your body, that demonic spirit that may be tormenting somebody listening right now.

I command that sickness and disease to leave your body.  I command that demonic spirit that’s tormenting somebody to leave and come no more.  And, God, I pray that right now people who are down will be lifted up, people who are blind will see, people who can’t walk will walk, people whose hearts are killing them will start beating right, men with prostate trouble will feel like they have a new prostate restored in their bodies.

You can lift it.  You’ve had almost no mobility in your shoulder.  God’s healing you right now by the power of the living God, in the authority of Jesus’ mighty name. And there’s a heat, Lindsay, there’s a heat, there’s a heat flowing through my hands.  The Bible said that God did miracles through the hands of the apostles.  And God is doing miracles through my hands.  No, it’s not my power, friend.  I don’t have any healing power, but I’m hooked up to Jesus who does.

In the authority of Jesus’ name, I come against cancer and the fear of it.  I rebuke it now in the name of Jesus.  I come against that terrible thing that’s tried to attach itself to your vital organs, colon, kidney, liver, gall bladder.  In the authority of Jesus’ name, I speak to it.  I command it to be made whole.

I speak to the lining of your stomach.  Ulcers, be made whole in Jesus’ mighty name.  Heart, beat normally.  Blood pressure and blood sugar be healed in the authority of Jesus’ name.  Every tumor, every wart, every growth, dissolve, in the authority of Jesus’ mighty name.

I come against the problem in your eyes.  Lindsay, there’s a word of knowledge about a cataract being healed right now.

LR: Hallelujah!

RR: Right now, in Jesus’ name.  Hallelujah, Father!  I give you the praise and the glory and the honor.  Deafness, I command you to go.  Inner ear problem, go.  Eustachian tube, be made whole.  Ear drum, be healed.  Perforation, go, in the authority of Jesus’ name.  Arterial sclerosis, I especially speak to you tonight.  In Jesus’ name, I command it to leave you and to leave you right now in Jesus’ name.

Now every one of you, I want you to just lift your hands.  You here tonight with us in the studio, lift your hands. Every one of you at home, lifts your hands, and begins to give praise and glory to God.  Lindsay, He inhabits, He lives in the praises of His people.  If you feel the power of God touching you tonight, I want you to go to your telephone right now and call us and let us know what God is doing.  Come on, give the Lord a handclap of praise tonight.  Miracles are happening, Lindsay. RR: concerning words of knowledge I just gave about maybe ten or fifteen minutes ago.  Esther is calling from right here in Tulsa. “I’ve been watching your program nightly.  I’ve had lung problems.  I’ve kept saying, “God, don’t pass me by.”

LR: Yes!

RR: “Tonight you called out healing for the lungs.  I receive that healing.  I’ve had asthma and pneumonia and other lung problems. Now I can breathe fully into my lungs.”  Halleluiah.

LR: Halleluiah.

RR: And here is Ernest, also from Tulsa, lung condition since 1986. “All the time I’ve had problems.  I’ve been on oxygen.  Watching your program now I heard you give a word of knowledge about lungs, and the pain is greatly reduced.  The right side is much better.” Ernest, in the name of Jesus, I pray for what God did to the right side, for Him to do on the left side.  Anyone with lung conditions laid your hand on your chest right now.  In the authority of the name of Jesus, I speak the living word of God to you.  I rebuke this thing, and I pray for you to be healed from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.  Lung condition, are thou made whole. I’ll tell you, the power of God is healing lungs tonight, healings lungs.  Also hearing loss and ringing of the ear, in the ear.

God’s healing hearing loss and He’s healing ringing in the ear tonight in Jesus’ name.  Whoever you are, get up and call us and let us know what God is doing in your life. Lindsay, in just a few minutes time, I’m going to introduce my dad and my mother, Oral and Evelyn Roberts.  And it’s going to be the first time that they have been a guest with us lives on this program.  And I’m so glad that they’re here to be with us tonight.

But I’m going to do something first.  I’m going to take you back to 1958 to Charleston, South Carolina, to meet Mrs. W. C. Murphy.  This is an incredible healing testimony.  And you’ll see my heritage.  You’ll see the healing power of God flowing through a man’s life, a man named Oral Roberts.  And then you’re going to meet him in person.  See what God did, and know that God is still the same God.  He’s still doing what He did.  God with me now to Charleston, South Carolina, 1958.

And I have had four kids and I gained weight on all my pregnancies, which you should.  You know, I mean, you have nine months to make a healthy baby.  And my body went right back down.  And, see, the truth is that God doesn’t even see us.  We’re hidden in Christ.  And the things that the world tries to get us to look at are not the things He looks at.

RR: Well, Lisa, the reason I asked you to give this testimony tonight is because I sense in my spirit that there are a lot of people that are watching tonight that are suffering in this area of their life.  Maybe it’s anorexia or bulimia or it’s some other type of disorder, eating disorder or other type of disorder.  And you are a living testimony of what God did and obviously is still doing, because you’re completely delivered from it now.  A marriage and four children later, and you obviously have had a great miracle.

God has healed your metabolism.  He’s healed your habits, your food habits.  He’s healed you all the way over.  And I think that if you would pray that there would be people who would receive a healing in that area of their lives tonight.  I’d like you to just take your freedom and pray.

L: I would love to do that.  Father, I just thank You right now. You know who you are and you know what was said to you that made you think that you are what you weigh.  But you’re not what you weigh.  You’re not what you have and you’re not what you look like and you’re not even who you see.  You are somebody so precious and so valuable.  And right now I break the words and I break the curses that have been spoken over you.  I break the chains of bondage that caused you to reduce yourself to a number on a scale.

And in the name of Jesus, Father, I thank You that the stronghold of anorexia and bulimia is broken off of the lives of so many women, in the name of Jesus.  Lord, You said that You abhor an unjust scale.  Lord, I thank You that You would establish a righteous measure for these women.  Lord, I thank You that You would establish them in righteousness and joy and peace.  And I come against that spirit that would try to get them to destroy themselves, in the name of Jesus.

So if a person says, “I’ll forgive them when they come and say I’m sorry,” they’re holding on to unforgiveness, which will eventually develop as a root of bitterness, which will fuel sickness and disease.  And we’ll get into that in a minute. But the reason a person cannot forgive is because they’ve forgotten what they’ve been forgiven of.  We deserve now let me tell you what you and I deserve, every one of us we deserved hell.  When Adam sinned against God, the Father could have looked at the Son and said, “They disobeyed us.  They chose the devil.  Let them all ago to hell.  We’re going to go over and create another universe and create somebody that really loves us.”  But God chose, when we didn’t deserve it, to send His Son. And Jesus left glory and came, and He died on the cross for us when we did not deserve it.

Now a Christian that does not realize what he’s been forgiven of as a Christian doesn’t have a revelation of hell.  I wish every believer could see hell for 30 seconds.  I know three people personally that have been to hell.  One friend is a pastor in the Caribbean.  He died, was dead 45 minutes, and went to hell.  His dad took him to a church, but he wasn’t a believer. He went right to the entrance of hell.

When he told my wife and I about it that one night, I’m telling you, the fear of God hit me.  And I was thanking God that the Holy Spirit revealed Jesus to me.  He said, “John, I have never experienced fear.  There is no fear in this earth like that.  There is no torment on the earth like that.”  And yet he was brought back, and today he’s pastoring a great church.

Well, we have to understand God freely forgave us from that. That’s what we deserve.  So a believer that cannot forgive is a believer that’s forgotten what we’ve been forgiven of. The worst sin that I can think of on the face of this earth, Richard and Lindsay, is child molestation.  Now if you can think of something worse, you tell me, but I can’t think of one worse. As horrifying as that is when an adult physically abuses a child, as horrifying as that is, that is nothing compared to hell.  If that’s what that child deserved, that’s what you deserved, that’s what I deserve, but yet Jesus forgave us.

Hell is available on every corner.  But there are those who are looking to God because God has the original supernatural. I’ve got news for you.  Satan is an imitator.  God has the original supernatural. The Bible says in Matthew 14 that Jesus went forth, He saw a great multitude, He was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.  Jesus went forth.  Jesus was always going somewhere to heal somebody.  He was either on His way to heal them, or He was there healing them, or He was on His way to heal somebody else.  Jesus was like a wrecking crew against sickness and disease.  I mean, he was after sickness and disease.  He was hot on their heels.  Wherever sickness and disease was, that’s where Jesus was.  He went forth.

The Bible says He saw a great multitude.  Well, He saw a crowd.  There’s a crowd here.  There’s a crowd watching around America, Canada, and other nations, even on the Internet tonight. But let me tell you, He sees more than a crowd.  He sees you, He sees you, He sees you right where you live.  He knows your name, He knows what you’re going through, He knows what you’re facing, He knows the circumstances, and He has healing.  He’s rising with healing in His wings for you tonight.

He went forth.  He saw a great multitude.  He was moved with compassion.  I’ve often wondered what compassion is.  I was reminded a few moments ago, Lindsay, about my father as he was praying there.  Compassion, the word compassion I remember my father once said to me, “Compassion is that irresistible urge that comes inside you to rid the person of whatever the problem is.”  It’s when that irresistible thing comes up inside you and makes you want to drive that thing out, no matter what it is. That’s what compassion is.  I feel that compassion in me.

Why a live healing program?  Because the compassion of Jesus is in me.  Because I want to see you healed from the crown of your head.  I want to see you well in every area of your life from your hair to your toenails in the authority of Jesus’ mighty name.  I want to see you well!  That’s why.  I’m moved with compassion.  The Bible says He healed their sick.

And all of them, virtually all of them, whether they’re preachers or not, have a healing compassion in their heart.  And I thank God for Oral Roberts University.  It’s a wonderful academic institution with bachelors and masters and doctors’ degrees.  And I’m very proud that God chose you, my son, to be the president, the second president, and the second first lady after the first lady, Evelyn.

LR: A good example.

OR: I’m very proud of you, Richard and Lindsay.  I have complete confidence in you that ORU will remain the same, on the same foundation, the same honor code, the same healing emphasis, the same excellence of higher education, and educating the children of our people who believe and who have prayed for a university that was first-class all the way, and now they have Oral Roberts University.

Now that’s the foundation of Calvary.  That’s why Jesus said, “If you don’t forgive, your Heavenly Father will not forgive you.”  How can we be children of God when He has forgiven us of such a great debt, a $4.5 billion debt, when Jesus is the very worst debt that we can sin against each other is basically $10,000 compared to $4.5 billion.  I’m shortening this extremely, but I’m doing it because of the sake of time. And so a Christian has got to realize you can’t forgive until you realize what you’ve been forgiven of.  And, you see, there’s so many believers today that are trapped, and that’s exactly what offense is.  It’s a trap.  They’re tormented by demonic powers because an offense is a trap.

RR: Well, they’ve been hurt.

LR: You think you have every ability to say, “Well, he did this wrong, that wrong, this wrong, that wrong.”  And the greatest revelation I ever got on this, first of all, was reading your book.  It’s marvelous.  I have to say that flat out, it’s marvelous.  And everybody who has ever even taken a breath needs to read the book, because sometime if you live long enough, you’re going to get offended by somebody or you’re going to offend somebody else.
